Canada Music Fund: May 23 Deadline

This grant provides financial assistance to undertake activities that are central to the development of Canadian artists, the promotion of their music and the expansion of their audience. Maximum of $5,000 towards a year of artist development activities including sound recording, touring, showcasing, video content production, and marketing.

Net-Zero Research Fund: May 28 Deadline

Women's Entrepreneurship Forum 2024: May 9th

The Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum is an interactive and informative event designed to inspire and empower women entrepreneurs in enhancing their skills, sharing experiences, and forging connections to excel in the dynamic world of global business. The main focus of this year’s forum is on women entrepreneurs breaking traditional boundaries and venturing into the global arena of commerce. Through workshops, discussions, and networking opportunities, the forum will provide a platform for women to gain valuable insights and tools to thrive in international trade.

The Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum will also feature supports available through the City of Toronto’s Small Business Enterprise Centre, other governments, non-profits, and associations. The event will also include a mini-tradeshow showcase of business services providers for female entrepreneurs.

Jobber Grants: June 12th Deadline

Jobber Grants is accepting applications for home service professionals in any stage of their business life cycle for grants worth $10,000. This grant program is intended to support small business goals to launch, grow or strengthen your business; eligible uses of the fund include equipment purchase, marketing, hiring, professional development and/or expansion. Fifteen small home service businesses will be selected and awarded the grants in August 2024. Deadline to apply is June 12
